The 60th Spring Topology and Dynamics Conference (STDC 60) will be hosted at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, March 18–20, 2027.
One of the oldest continually running topology conferences in the world, STDC was founded in 1967 and has been bringing together researchers ever since. Each year the conference attracts between 100 and 200 active mathematicians from around the world working in continuum theory, dynamical systems, geometric group theory, geometric topology, and set-theoretic topology.
STDC regularly receives generous support from the National Science Foundation, which enables the conference to provide travel funding for graduate students and other junior participants.

Mary Ellen Rudin Young Researcher Award
Mary Ellen Rudin (1924–2013) was an American mathematician and a leading figure in set-theoretic topology. She spent most of her career at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she held the Grace Chisholm Young Professorship. She is best remembered for constructing striking counterexamples to long-standing conjectures, e.g., the first Dowker space (1971), which resolved an open problem that had driven topological research for over two decades!
The Mary Ellen Rudin Young Researcher Award is given annually to an outstanding young researcher in general topology and its neighboring fields. Established in 2013 by Elsevier through the journal Topology and its Applications, the award carries a $15,000 prize. This award will be presented at STDC 60.
